Greece is a vital part of the History of Occident. We would be fairer to say that it is the fundamental basis on which have settled almost 3,000 years of political, social, philosophical and artistic development in Europe and, consequently, almost the entire world.
Our small contribution to its rediscovery has been to traverse its geography with 24 beautiful classic cars during ten days in the months of May and June of 2017. Participants from all over Spain were marveled by the corners and secrets that the Hellenic country, cradle of artists and philosophers who have been and still are today in their respective fields.

The first stage of the Rally of Greece 2017 took us from Athens, crossing the Corinth Canal, to Mycenae, where the first Hellenistic civilization, located on the Peloponnese Peninsula, emerged. A guided tour allowed us to know the remains of the ancient city and know a little bit of its history.

Olympia, the spiritual city of Greece according to Alexander the Great and birthplace of the Olympic Games, was our stop on the third day, prior to the route that took us outside the Peloponnese Peninsula to Ioaninna, in northern Greece, in the area Of Epirus. From here, the next day, we drove up to one of the most spectacular natural accidents in Greece: the Pindus National Park and Vikos Gorge, the deepest canyon in Europe: 3248 feets (990 meters).

On the sixth day of the Rally the participants headed to the region of Thessaly and visited what was perhaps the most spectacular place on the tour: Meteora. The union that takes place here between an almost mystical orography and the constructions made by the man leave the visitor breathless. The rounded and rugged cliffs of Meteora are dotted by monasteries erected on its summits that create a unique landscape in the world. The day ended at Kazarma Hotel, located at the foot of Plastira Lake, a lake that formed after the construction of a dam, but not less spectacular.

On the return to Athens, we stopped on the way to meet another of the mythical places of Greece: Delphi, the city of the Oracle. Situated on the hillside of Mount Parnassus, the temples still preserved, the splendid theater and the natural view from the whole valley reinforce the Greek idea that considered Delphi the center of the world.
